I am using the admin account on my laptop. Saving png with “save as” works as normal. I don’t know what ‘Internal Pool’ does but it’s probably a good idea to set it back to the default value. There was no need to reduce it from the default 50% allocation but reducing to 20% = 3.3GB won’t be a problem for small or even quite large animations. You have more than enough RAM and I assume plenty of hard drive space for running krita and storing/writing images.

I tried resizing the canvas to divisible by 2 but the “failed to render animation frames” error kept appearing. Note on error message: When I was on 4.2.8, I tried running as admin and the error message changed to a popup stating something about canvas size and even vs odd numbers.
